Dr. Cayley Childress was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. She attended the University of Arizona where she received a B.S in Biochemistry and a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a Minor in Animal Science. Dr. Childress went on to attend the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine as part of their inaugural class. She then completed an equine internship at Jackpot Veterinary Center. Dr. Childress enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and her interests extend to both equine and small animal medicine with a special interest in urgent and emergency cases. Dr. Childress’ hobbies include spending time outside hiking, camping, fishing, gardening and horseback riding. Dr. Childress also has around 20 animals at home and enjoys spending time with her dogs, horses, goats and chickens.
