Dr. Kleinman first moved to Arizona from New Jersey to attend vet school at Midwestern University in Glendale. After graduation he moved to Seattle for a rotating internship in small animal emergency and specialty medicine. He continued to do some general practice in addition to his shelter medicine work in Washington but could not stay away from Arizona. His interests include chronic disease management and ultrasonography. Currently, he lives with his copilot, Layla the lab/shar pei mix, out here while his first pet, Tuki the cockatiel, lives with his mother back east. When not helping pets, he likes to read, play music, and explore Arizona.
