Dr. Avery Welch has been a proud member of the Casa Grande Animal Hospital family since 2022. She was born and raised back East, graduating from University of Connecticut with a degree in Animal Science while working at a local veterinary clinic as a veterinary assistant. After that, she came out to the desert for veterinary school and liked it so much she stayed! A graduate of Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine here in Arizona, Dr. Welch loves to see cats and dogs but is also happy to see the occasional exotic critter for basic grooming and wellness services, such as nail trims, beak/wing trims. She has a particular affinity for surgery and dentistry, and a special place in her heart for wellness for pets of all ages, preventative medicine, and client education. Outside of the office, Dr. Welch enjoys spending time with her partner, Jacob, and their menagerie at their home here in town, as well as knitting, baking, and reading by the pool.
